Application for shares

Before a company allots new shares, the incoming shareholder applies for them in writing and undertakes to pay. Generate the application letter here, ready to sign — free.

When you need this document

The application (or subscription) letter is the incoming shareholder’s side of an allotment: they apply for a stated number of shares at a stated price, agree to be bound by the articles, and ask to be entered in the register of members. It pairs with the allotment pack — members’ authority, board resolution and the NSC1 filing.

After you sign

  1. The company approves the allotment — members’ authority and board resolution: use the allotment pack.
  2. Pay the subscription price — the shares are issued credited as fully paid on receipt.
  3. Filings follow — Form NSC1 within 1 month, share certificate within 2 months, registers (and SCR at 25%+) updated.
